Pros

Great opportunity to work with smart, talented staff and tutors in a positive industry that assists students in reaching their potential. The office space is exceptionally well designed and uplifting to work in. The administrative team works well together, which makes me look forward to work each day. There is a nice combination of teamwork and professional independence. There are also stimulating professional development opportunities and social gatherings for tutors. Free food is always a plus.

Cons

Scheduling of students can be challenging.

Pros

The money was good/consistent, the schedule was flexible, and the students and staff were great to work with! Tutoring in and out of the office was made easy through the plethora of resources available to tutors. Overall, I had a very positive experience working with ATAC.

Cons

Scheduling was tricky at first, as there were initial gaps between students. This got resolved quickly as I was matched with more students, though.

Pros

The students are great. I work with all ages, and the variety keeps me on my toes! The other tutors are fun to work with; we are a group with diverse talents, so we can share tips and tricks. ATAC provides lots of resources for tutors as well: they have test prep books and documents on hand, lists of engaging websites/games for students, and the occasional professional development opportunity. They will also consult with you if you have any concerns about your students, and they will then consult with the families on your behalf if necessary.

Cons

The office will sometimes be a little overeager in giving good tutors lots of students, so it is important to be clear how many hours/students you are looking for.
