    I am not sure of what I can say. They got me a job.

    The Employee Rep is terrible. I can take days or weeks to get an answer. The payroll system is a mess. They claim they need to validate your payroll information before you can receive a direct deposit and that most companies do that. That is actually not true, most companies that use ADP payroll systems let the employee put in the direct deposit information and manage that on their own and alleviating the company of any mistakes or delays. Mine has taken at least two months and after I was told it was setup, I didn't receive a paycheck at all. The local staff are impossible to contact and do not answer emails or phone messages. The new payroll system is just as bad now. First paycheck out of the gate and there isn't one. Makes me think that they don't care about the employee, just the bottom line.

    Advice to Management

    When you hire someone to work as a Generalist or Representative, make sure they have experience in HR and have an understanding about payroll and benefits. If that can't happen, then give the employees a contact for the payroll department and benefits department. Also, be more transparent. When you make changes to the payroll system, make sure people know in advance. Sending an email out on the last day of the payroll cycle with ADP letting us know you were changing systems gives us no warning. And if it was sent out late because of your ER's, then perhaps you should revisit the use of that ER. Sending out the information at least 2 weeks in advance (if not more) is the proper way to inform your employees about the change and then little reminders after that. Waiting until the payday and the ER stating that they just found out (after your corporate office said the email should have gone out some time ago) does not instill confidence in your capabilities.

    For the last four years Acro has consistently been recognized as a Best & Brightest work place both locally and on a national level. Acro provides a collaborative, team oriented business casual work environment along with a comprehensive benefit package. Hard work is rewarded and appreciated here.

    Cons

    Systems used to be a concern due to rapid growth, but Acro continues to work on upgrading its HRIS infrastructure to meet the growing demands of the business. Much progress has been made in this area over the last 6 months and this is no longer a major concern.

    It's great to have friendly & professional co-workers onsite as well as throughout the company. It's nice to have great support and quick responses from Corporate Management staff on a daily basis.

    Cons

    The only con is that I have personally experienced is that the insurance cost is a little more expensive than my previously jobs, however it is really good insurance.

    Advice to Management

    No advice for management, but a few comments.
    I have really enjoyed joining the ACRO team and think that the Corporate Team does a great job of offering support / staying in touch with front line staff. I'm also very excited that this career opportunity with ACRO has offered me a work life balance, as that is a huge plus in the workforce today! I am grateful for my position, onsite staff, and company coworkers. I love being a part of a great company and can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us!
