I have been working at AdComm Digitel full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great environment for sales. Lots of incentives for the sales teams and a very competitive compensation plan.

    Cons

Competitive industry, not for someone looking for a $10/hr job. You must be motivated and want to make money to work here.

I have been working at AdComm Digitel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Started at this job a year ago this month, the interview process went very smoothly and the managers are very helpful. This job is very competitive (In a fun way) and extremely rewarding. I've worked at several of the adcomm locations and the staff has always been awesome and helpful!
Good benefits and lots of contests to keep you motivated.

    Cons

Promotions and prices do change frequently so you do have to brush up on your knowledge a lot. Job is a little overwhelming at first but once you get comfortable that feeling will go away.

Revamp the whole company or it will go downhill faster and sooner than it already is.

    Great district managers
You learn a ton about different devices and platforms
After 9 months you get an employee phone plan

    Cons

regional managers are constantly changing policies and rules
theres no overtime. If you work an hour over tonight then tomorrow you have to take a 2 hour lunch which isn't fun if you don't live close by to go home and waste time
the compensation plan has changed 4 times in the last 2 years
    unrealistic quotas for certain districts

    Advice to Management

    CONSISTENCY

Give your employees over time instead of hiring part time people who are inexperienced
Appreciate your employees and the work that they do

    Pros

One of the best parts for me was that I enjoyed my coworkers

    Cons

Typical Cell Phone store job....no benefits...longer hours...minimal base pay.....high sales targets...pressure for upper management

    Advice to Management

Focus on developing your employees and invest in their livelihood, for example, some type of health benefits package

I have been working at AdComm Digitel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Competitive pay plans. Benefits. Team oriented environment. Competitive spiffs for motivation. Monthly incentives for sales, and rewards.

    Cons

I'm not really quite sure what to put in here. Adcomm digitel doesn't really have any thing that would be considered a "Con" that other jobs have simply because it's your job.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up.

I worked at AdComm Digitel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice people, good chance to build customer service skills and learned about new technology.

    Cons

Low pay for long hours. HR did not do their job properly, they would get your commissions messed up and then blame you for not telling them sooner. Owners are very rude to employees. Supplies were not ordered in a timely manner. Can you say micromanagement? Lied to employees about what they were getting paid for. Expected you to do all the marketing since the owners are too cheap to pay for some marketing. I worked in a slow store and they expect you to hit quota every month. Took months (almost a year) for them to hire new representatives. Lied to you about when something was going to get done. Audits are really annoying too. There is probably more, but that's too long of a list.

    Advice to Management

Don't be hypocritical, when you don't do your job, don't be mad when we don't do ours.
