Pros

You get to go home...eventually

Cons

Awful work-life balance, management must have been picked via a rock-paper-scissors contest at JobCentre, because there isn't any plausible way the PL's can be less knowledgeable than the VA/SVA's and this clueless but this is a common issue here. Turnover rate is the most dire thing I have ever witnessed. Most new recruits plan to leave by week 3 or 4 in my experience. If the job market wasn't so awful I would have left at the end of my first month. PLs nag about anything and everything, random teams calls to disrupt your work flow so they can "make sure everythings on track", you realise PL's are just admin staff setting up timelines nicking a living. Pay is horrendous, wow. Progression is at a snails pace, staff here who have been here over 2 years who finally got their first promotion recently for a hefty *checks notes* 3k payrise (!) All-in-all, please avoid. I promise you if doesn't get worse than Adelphi Values

Pros

Fast paced, so often you're thrown in at the deep end and you can learn a lot from doing that. Progression felt fairly predictable. Lots of teaching on the graduate programme which was nice and took you away from just doing lots of work.

Cons

There was a lot of pressure to hit targets, which meant often the company's workload exceeded capacity and there was a lot of pressure to get things done. Seniors get more regular bonuses so they are keen to take on more work than juniors could handle. Workload structure was not well managed as you'd be on different teams for different projects, requiring juniors to manage upwards when overloaded. Pay was lower than comparable roles in the industry. 2 days WFH was presented as a perk but is lower than many other jobs in the industry. Support was mixed, often if you weren't sure what you were doing you just had to finish a draft and then comments could feel not great.
