Pros
The management team at Altinity is one of the most engaged teams I've worked with in a while, including the CEO. It's a true startup in that "wear many hats/take on many tasks" kind of way, which I love. There's always a chance to jump in and make a difference. Everyone seems to be here because they are passionate about open source, passionate about the services they can provide, and passionate about the niche market they are carving out.
Cons
None that I've really encountered yet. The team is widely distributed, so communication can be slow at times, but I don't really consider this to be a con against Altinity. You just have to be willing to make the time zones work and keep a good work/life balance, which is highly encouraged here.
