Everything you learn depends on what someone is willing to share with you and how they choose to communicate it, once you have managed to find the right person. You are unlikely to receive information that would directly improve your productivity, so your progress largely depends on your own initiative. Gathering information can feel like conducting an investigation — interesting to some extent, but ultimately damaging to productivity.
