      Pros

      My group had wide freedoms to develop appropriate solutions.

      Cons

      Management is dishonest and secretive. They are reluctant to invest in employees. Work environment is from the 70s. Example of deceit: they mandated everyone park in front of building to make it look busier. I was part of a staged meeting to deceive a customer on site. Finally company collected millions from major corporation and never provided the support staff the company thought they paid for.

      Pros

      Remote work is encouraged, which was great! Most people are super nice (just not in IT). Loved my boss, pay was decent, although raises didn't keep up with inflation. The company is small enough where I felt I was really making a difference.

      Cons

      IT is the worst. They're disagreeable and snarky. Every time I opened a ticket, I knew there was a rude lecture on its way. I am so glad I don't have to worry about dealing with the divas in that dpt anymore. Pay doesn't increase with inflation (although contract pricing does). The tools the company uses are cheap and not industry standard. They tell customers to get the latest and greatest, while they use excel based project management.
