Pros

good discount and friendly staff

Cons

Upper-level company management is not only completely dissatisfied with everything that you do; they also are completely unequipped with the skills needed to build a successful brand. It's a very stressful, and tip-toe kind of work environment where your every move is constantly reprimanded and no room given for messing up procedures even when store employees are not properly trained up to par with company standards. To add on, the return policy is a disaster. Never have I ever had as many angry customers as I did when working here. Customer retention among the 22+ age group was close to none. Plus the brands Threads carries are so poorly made (unless designer) that people don't want to come back because of garments that rip, break, etc. after the first 24 hours from purchase. Overall, I could go on, but I do not advise or recommend any position within this company. You will be disgustingly underpaid, overworked, and have to follow some absolutely ridiculous rules and procedures obviously created by company heads who want retail robots to work for them. It's very apparent this company will most likely fail, considering the complete lack of knowledge surrounding retail and how successful companies operate. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Pros

Discount on clothes, sweet coworkers, free snacks and coffee

Cons

The company is poorly run by the CEO. Everyone who is at an entry level is paid extremely low, but has a lot of responsibility and pressure to succeed. The CEO intentionally hires young girls straight out of college because she knows she can put a large workload on them with very little pay. You don’t receive any benefits, paid time off, or sick pay if you’re an hourly employee. This job took a huge toll on my mental health due to the lack of professionalism, the inability to pay my bills, and the treatment I received from management.

Pros

- Good hourly wage - Decent discount

Cons

- Overworked, and do not follow your availibility at all. Think work is more important than school and having a life outside of threads. - Completely understaffed and are too picky about who to hire. - Horrible management - Will accuse you of things you didn't do, and watch you like hawks on their security cameras if you stop tasking for a single second. Almost filed a lawsuit due to this and the way I was treated afterwards. - Lots of gossip - You have to wear the clothes there, which is fine, but then you put the clothes back on the rack at the end of the day for customers to purchase. As a customer, that's disgusting. - Blamed for poor sales when it's not the associates fault. - If you aren't blonde, skinny, and pretty they won't like you. - Too demanding for a retail store
