Pros

AGI definitely offers fantastic fringe benefits that are not comparable to a lot of companies. It feels very easy to be seen/noticed for good work. Pay increases are fair & consistent. They don't micromanage you & definitely give opportunities for people to "prove it" if they are wanting more from their career.

Cons

It seems hard to figure out what is open/available around the company for potential promotions or movement.

Good for those who prefer old school culture, not for the innovator

Pros

In my experience, the main upside was strong compensation compared to other opportunities, and many of the non-executive employees were great people to work with.

Cons

During my time there, the culture felt very much like a boys’ club with a clear inner circle. If you were “in,” things could be very good; if you weren’t, it was easy to feel excluded. The company presents itself as Christian-led, with chaplains, devotionals, and Bible studies integrated into work life. Some people appreciate this, but for others it can feel uncomfortable or out of place in a private-sector environment. Work–life balance was poor, with long hours, frequent travel, and many meetings that often didn’t add much value. Operationally, I found the technology and systems to be outdated and inefficient, relying heavily on on-premise servers and spreadsheets, which made it harder for project managers and operations to do their jobs. Support functions like IT, marketing, and HR did not feel empowered or effective, and HR did not feel like a neutral, safe resource if you were outside the inner circle. Overall, I would not recommend this environment to someone who is progressive, innovative, or looking for a healthy, modern workplace.
