Pros

Decent pay, work-life balance, quality products.

Cons

Company unsure what direction it wants to go. Gone is the family feel when it was Edstrom Industries, now more of a corporate overlord structure. Business has moved from primary focus of auto-watering to a variety of other offerings that seem forced and unwelcome by customers. Users/customers are also starting to take notice to the forced approach and what used to be a very happy customer base it starting to erode.

Pros

Easy work, good pay, on the job training.

Cons

Terrible management. Wait until last minute to tell you where in the country you’re going to. No communication. Expect you to meet other workers at their home and ride for hours in their van so they don’t have to pay for your transportation and parking. Fired a tech for not wanting to rent a car and drive their supervisor around in it after working hours.

Pros

Pay was good and lunch was provided 3x per year. Christmas party was mandatory and employee's must ride the chartered school buses to the hall.

Cons

Very difficult managment where micro-managment was a daily occurance with alot of "looking over your shoulder" to see what you were doing. Redundant job descriptions used as leverage to make you aware you were replaceable. Clear and overt electronic monitoring of all your daily activities by the president of the company - Tommersen. Many meetings just for the sake of having a meeting where nothing of substance occured as a result. Unrealistic lists of future projects and duties, and as one dropped off the list, a new one needed to be added immediately. Too many women in management that were prone to mood swings and decision making based on emotion rather than logic. This is not a good company to work for.
