I worked at BCI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is decent for the area, well lit and very clean, people are nice. Profit sharing.

    Cons

No A/C hardly any fans. Only get 2-10 min breaks and 1-15 min break, so really no time to eat. Work 12 months thru temp service before being hired, so have to wait at door for employee to open it so you can go in to work.

    Advice to Management

More fans or better yet add A/C. Waiting 12 months is a long time, 4 or 6 months should be plenty to know if the person is right fit.

I worked at BCI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you are lucky you might get a nice manager but since the job is half commission based everyone acts like hungry vultures .other than that there is no good reason for this company

    Cons

The company does not care about none of the employees. They fired our manager just because they wanted to even though he reached his goals . They won't give you a raise even if your numbers reflect it .there is no room for any advancement .the company wants to sell luxury but all garments are cheaply made comes with rips and holes .the services offered by the company are all lies to make money. HR is biased and racist and rude.

I have been working at BCI full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy position. Nice to be in a different selling market.

    Cons

No room for growth and no raises ever!

    Advice to Management

Selling managers should always help assist their employees instead of trying to make sales for themselves,

    Pros

The product doesn't get any more luxurious. You'll learn a lot about the fashion industry. The sales staff are commission based and have the potential to make a lot of money.
Some employees are privileged to attend fashion shows.

    Cons

During the season, staff members are required to work 6 days a week. The hours are brutal when holiday hours hit. Also, very difficult to get a raise or be promoted. There is a lot of turnover.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within and work on the company's work/life balance. It seems employees are being push to the limit. If you want your employees to work 6 days a week, then compensate each one for it.
