    Pros

Rapid growth with lots of opportunity to work on multiple systems. Can be good for a person starting their career to grow rapidly.

    Cons

Lack of management and responsibilities throughout the company. Quantity is valued over quality. Very young team, knowledge isn't valued as much as it should be. Not much room for growth in the company. A lot of growing pains. Language barriers exist between Chinese team and American team. Not very many standardized practices. Limited amount of knowledge to be learned. It's really all about getting it done. Company infrastructure is weak, and is very prone to errors.

    Advice to Management

Get people to better manage the projects. Work harder to solve internal conflicts before allowing the company to grow with a weak infrastructure. Better establish procedures and protocols to prevent trivial errors to become larger errors.

I have been working at BYD full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunity with a company that is truly leading the way in electric vehicle space; great deal of responsibility; access to leadership

    Cons

Human Resources (HR) truly sucks it may as well not even exist. They have horrible policies, absolutely no team work, no morale, and not to mention no Camaraderie. People are leaving left right and center, and the leadership (including HR) does nothing.

    Advice to Management

Try caring about your employees. Don't be so damn cheap. Do some team building exercises. I feel like fun is frowned upon. Part of success in America is building a work family. People won't dedicate their lives to something that is just going to ruin their life with nothing to show for it.
