      CEO & Senior Management are incompetent, don’t waste your time.

      Pros

      All colleagues I encountered on a daily basis were great. Genuine hard working individuals interested in their personal and business development.

      Cons

      CEO doesn’t understand the magnitude of the tasks required to expand a scientific organisation. Whether that’s labour, resources or financial funding, the reality and what social media says are worlds apart. Managing & commercial directors are incompetent. Both CEO & senior management lacked integrity to ever get to know their staff despite only being an SME. Biobanking website is full of lies which will be exposed sooner rather than later. No organisation. No planning. No structure. Micro-manage the wrong things. Social media is full of ‘successes’ and ‘personal accolades’ for CEO & senior management, not the case behind the scenes. Four rounds of redundancies in 9 months. Mass profits generated from covid services diverted into personal ventures, clear distractions for senior management hence the situation the business finds itself in. Inevitable failure of the business.

      Colleagues and peers were great to work with

      Cons

      Management was terrible as noone knew what was happening. CEO Natalie Kenny made all scientists and employees in other departments redundant not once, not twice but more than 3 times over a period of 4-5 months. No job security at all and meanwhile she is lying to the press about the success of her ever-growing company

      Pros

      There are not many, the scientists who dedicated themselves to their field are amazing.

      Cons

      Would not recommend working here, I had an insight to how their senior management and human resources departments operate and it is highly unethical. I frequently heard members state 'I want rid of her/him' and the following weeks any opportunity to make the employee feel uncomfortable or unwelcome was taken. The staff turnover is high and employee engagement is very poor. Often spoke to staff who were disgruntled or unhappy. Hard working staff are ignored and there are no development opportunities.
