    Pros

    - Work from home once a week after 6 months and twice per week after 1 year.

    Cons

Nepotism - Preference given to family members and close friends who are eventually promoted. Unqualified family members and friends are GIVEN jobs and titles that haven't been earned. Racial discrimination - Leadership openly speaks negatively about minorities. - Once you get to know other people of color in the company, you will find that they are paid significantly less than their white counterparts... regardless if they have more education and more experience in the field. - Held to a different standard and will be scrutinized at every turn if you express your grievances. - Not a safe space for people of color. Broken processes - managers don't understand the work because they've been promoted after all the good PM's leave. - managers are not in unison about how things work. PM's receive conflicting information. Antiquated "technology." - The entire company relies almost exclusively on Excel spreadsheets. Nothing is really "automated" at this place. - Clients have expressed that they are about to pull business because they are behind the 8 ball. - Backlog: they hire traveling techs to clear the backlog and then get rid of them once the backlog is cleared. Then the backlog resumes and they hire traveling techs to clear it up. They use and exploit them. Workload - it is not uncommon for PMs to work weekends. Some put in 60 hours consistently. One PM left after putting in 70 hours on her "vacation." - managers will tell you that it is expected of you to work more than 40 hours since you are on salary. - no overtime pay. - Managers throw more work on the PMs to pick up the slack for other departments. - PM's are responsible for data management and some operations functions. Pay & "Benefits" - Well below industry standards. - Arbitrary pay range. Highly dependent on who you know. - every year there is less PTO. They remove PTO to give people "more" sick days which require documentation. - 12 PTO days is below the industry standard. Culture - a culture of nepotism. - gossip is the norm. - they feel threatened if you are too good at your job.

    Advice to Management

Project managers are leaving in droves. Corporate should launch a serious investigation into why some people have left in a short period of time. I recommend hiring an external VP to clean house. An external VP would find out how terrible these "managers" really are. Corporate should do an audit of everyone's pay in accordance to their level of experience and education, and determine if there are any gaps in... how they are paid based on race, education, experience, and other factors. Corporate should also look into recent hires to find out how they were brought in. Many recent hires are friends and family members. Many who have no experience but they were hired immediately.

    Pros

Benefits, PTO accrual, very easy work

    Cons

Nepotism, leadership isn't interested in elevating employees, no room for growth/promotions, supervisors create cliques with non management employees, gossip mill, it's who you know that gets you anywhere or get away with anything, no punishment for lazy employees just have the good ones pick up the slack, "not my job, not my problem" culture, no communication between departments and employees, poor R&D, HR is... their own kingdom, poor raises

    Advice to Management

Stop protecting your supervisor friends when issues are brought up because it means more work for you. You'll fire people for attendance but won't fire clearly terrible employees/supervisors. Technicians need at least 3-4 weeks of call monitoring before you let them loose and calls for all technicians should be monitored more often than just at the annual review.
