    I worked at Bluefly full-time

    Pros

Small organization, easy to know everyone and talk to management
Long history as an amazing fashion site

    Cons

Crappy office - there are holes in the walls, people can see directly into the restroom from the kitchen.
No budget for technology - horrible machines, horrible monitors, no supplies.

    Advice to Management

Invest in infrastructure and process - like an HR department, replace the legacy systems and convoluted rules from 20 years ago.

I worked at Bluefly full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get paid, even though the pay is less when compared to NYC standards.
Nothing else i could think of.

    Cons

Highly politicized environment for such a small team one could imagine of.
The CEO/Leader don't have a vision or the path where it will lead them to.
No friendly workplace, no help from peers or leads.
The repeated activity they do is laying off people for the money they could gain.
    Very depressing work environment.

    Advice to Management

Please weigh your judgement before joining this company. Its a total scam. They are recruiting only interns to cut the cost. If you want to crib, get depressed and lose your life over a job, then this is the best place to be. If you really want a LIFE look for another place. You have been really warned enough.

Keep working hard and empowering your employees to keep up the good work.

    I worked at Bluefly full-time

    Pros

Checks cleared when we were meant to be paid.

    Cons

Terrible clueless leadership , specifically the CMO/CEO/President (she has an always evolving title) who is mean, overly involves herself in day to day activities but fails to correct a rapidly sinking ship.

    No 401K Matching.

    Advice to Management

None - the situation is hopeless.

I have been working at Bluefly full-time

    Pros

I wish I had pros to comment about....

    Cons

No hope for raises or advancement because it is not within their "budget". Bad health insurance, no 401(k) matching. Laying off all the people who knew how to do their jobs. Replacing some positions with outsourcing. HR will never respond to you at all if you have issues regarding health insurance or anything that has to do with the company.

    Advice to Management

Your company is slowly losing its grasp and falling into a deeper hole along with no morale at work, it's a depressing work environment.

    Pros

Bluefly had the best people working for the company. Teams were very strong and effectively worked well with one another.

Too much change in management and vision. No streamlined processes in place to help guide us through the numerous projects.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent with the company vision. Allow the great teams to do what they do best before changing projects.
