      Troubled Company

      Pros

      Friendly colleagues (at the time), nice comp payouts (while it lasted). People were generally good.

      Cons

      Leadership was not leading. Company was, and likely still is, suffering financially and the employees paid the price.

      Turn around and run away from Blueprint

      Pros

      Good solution, very good technical resources here and sadly these are the only positives at Blueprint

      Cons

      Management team is awful, they manage by intimidation, high-turnover, be prepared to be micro-managed to death, not one reliable customer reference, company changes direction on an annual basis

      Pros

      Worked with insanely smart and supportive teams. The team I was a part of, in particular, was incredibly supportive and was an integral part of my learning. Autonomy actually existed within our team. What I appreciated, most, was the willingness of any member of any given team to jump in whenever needed.

      Cons

      I've had a really difficult time resolving the company's integrity, as a whole. While the individual teams were amazing to work with, I could never trust the direction of the company. One would never know when the next round of layoff's were (usually right around the corner - even though they would try to assure us otherwise.) I've also seen how the company slowly veered towards a path of micromanagement and felt an underlined tone of tension/aggressiveness.
