I have been working at Boxercraft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Monthly company meeting, some career minded individuals, free breakfast weekly

    Cons

Lack of company focused goals, poor communication to employees about critical issues, hard work in exchange for no recognition, non-collaborative leadership, poor hiring and screening techniques, turnover rate is too high, too many temps for too long

    Advice to Management

Consider having regular focus groups involving all employees, not just managers. Build a better work environment by communicating changes in advance versus after the fact. Stop laying off employees.

I worked at Boxercraft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

for me it was location and work-life balance, almost too perfect. Employees are awesome and free breakfasts on Friday was great.

    Cons

No one knows what we do and at times expects miracles. Position was canned and moved to outsourcing.

    Advice to Management

    -

  5. "Good stepping stone, but not much room for growth within"

    I worked at Boxercraft full-time

    Pros

Gained a lot of experience. They try their best to promote "company" spirit. Good opportunity for learning. If you come in with experience and you do well, you can make a lot of impact. Can be rewarding. Okay benefits. Free breakfast every Friday.

    Cons

Disconnect and often poor communication between departments, particularly between sales and production- though they are getting better. During busy times, high stress work environment with mediocre pay. Company is going through growing pains as with any growing company...

I have been working at Boxercraft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are SOME good people there and it is the only thing that makes it bearable.

    Cons

EVERYTHING, disorganized, never keeps product on the shelves, website is a nightmare (and it was just built) no true structure, useless managers, CEO is a joke and pretty much useless. She is not even qualified to be at a Supervisory level!

    Advice to Management

Advice to owners, get a new CEO in there that knows what they are doing! This company should be 3 or 4 times the size that it is. All that ever happens is disappointment of your clients.

I worked at Boxercraft full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

CEO cares about you and your vision, thoughts and struggles. Building the company more and more daily and on the right track to become bigger every year. Great things to come from the company and owners.

    Cons

No major flaws or cons. Keeping all departments updated of good and bad news, products and changes would be only advise.

    Pros

Easy going environment. Got to meet some nice people.

    Cons

Felt like they did not really know what to do with an intern, that the just got the position to take some work load off, not to really teach anything.

    Advice to Management

Work out what you want your intern position to look like.

    Pros

no much except you get your paycheck every 2 weeks

    Cons

agree with most, everyone is out for themselves and no loyalty to long time employees, quick to fire people usually without a just cause other than they want one of their friends to take their place. Salary sucks does not pay to scale as other companys
