Not a good place to work.

Pros

They are fairly agreeable when it comes to giving employees time off when requested; they're not stingy with PTO, which is really the only positive thing about working there.

Cons

-Extremely hostile, aggressive, intimidating, degrading, and unprofessional work environment. -Compensation package is non-existent. -Payday is whenever they feel like it.

Pros

Interesting projects to work on Friendly staff Near transportation

Cons

Utterly inept management When projects are on verge of failure they blame workers for their failures (example: server crashed due to power failure. Entire company in jeopardy due to all company records and all engineering work being stored on server. Sys Admin blamed despite his repeated requests - all denied by Management - for replacement battery for UPS and/or replacement drive for RAID and/or media for backups and/or etc., etc., etc.) Low pay

Pros

The other engineers are nice.

Cons

Holding my tongue. No direction, angry and intimidating management, no project planning, no timelines, shady business practices, no opportunity to move forward, no real learning opportunities, no benefits, massive cash-flow problems (core issue with paychecks being on time), constant sense of "get this done or we'll go out of business" as they pay for lavish lunches. The management's problem is that the older engineers are detrimental to the company's success (they wrote the code), so they walk all over the president of the company because they know they can. The reviews from 2010 are still pretty valid, which is unfortunate to see.
