  4. "Great place to work! Miss working there. Rethinking my decision to leave for 'greener pastures' several years back."

    Pros

Great people across all departments with strong expertise and collaboration in each area. Many more than can be listed here.

    Cons

Advancement in my area was limited. It was a bit of a niche position and professionally I couldn't really go anywhere 'up the ladder'.

    Advice to Management

Provide more community volunteer opportunities for employees.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Bryan Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

free meals on holidays, good co-workers most of the time, free coffee, shift differentials for nights and weekends.

    Cons

no breaks, underpaid, way too much political posturing, the managers have never even done the job they are trying to oversee. management doesn't listen to worker complaints, or suggestions. Too much caddy high school style drama, everyone has dated everyone else. constant gossip. always under staffed, with insanely high turn over. so your always training someone new, and trying to work short at the same time.

    Advice to Management

Do the job before you try to tell us how to do it. Don't preach about time management or stress management, until you're the one working short and trying to check in 5 ambulances at once and still get to all the patients before they're discharged, and manage the phones, and help the new guy in triage, and do all the admissions.
