Everyone is required to download HubStaff on their desktop - whether it's your personal computer or company issued. It tracks all websites and applications you use and for how long. That would be ok if the client offered you a work computer. But it's not fair for us who invested our own money for an all in one high powered device. I feel very uncomfortable since I use my personal computer. You can't really be sure that the HubStaff surveillance really stops after you hit "sign out". I am not going to buy another device.

Operations and HR are very toxic. They pretend to be friendly, but once you share your struggles, they WILL use that information against you. They will protect the company's "reputation and culture" at all costs. The company promotes a "family-like" culture, but if you choose not to participate in events or games, this will be held against you. They are extremely strict—as if they own the company.
