Pros

Fulfiling, fun, AMAZING CULTURE and Leadership. Something different everyday, they care abt you it seems, able to pursue being a bcba, you will get paid even if client doesn’t show up.

Cons

Completely disregarded benefits for employees, small amt of time for a lunch break, burn out is inevitable in this field, pay is ehhh since you’re not getting 40hrs a week, attendance policy is strict

Pros

- 35 hours a week - start/ end time - still get to work if your client cancels

Cons

- extremely poor management - a lot of scheduling issues for both staff and clients - BCBAs lack creativity/ a lot of clients have the same behavior plan - clinical directors make behavioral decisions on clients without even supervising the client first - RBTs have very strict policies and procedures and very little benefits - lack of support and learning as an RBT - BCBAs lack collaboration with RBTs - hard to get unrestricted hours as a supervisee / takes a long time to get all hours needed - admin staff is hard to reach/ rude when asked questions - RBTs have little access to BCBAs / BCBAs struggle to meet RBTs monthly supervision requirements

Pros

Rewarding working with children who have Autism

Cons

Some employees like to bully others. You have to chase after your child, literally and can't restrain them. You have to stand in front of them to keep them from leaving the area. They tend to get physical with staff, and you just have to take it. However, you know what your getting into when you choose to work with autistic children. It is not for the weak.
