Pros
ButterflyMX is a forward-thinking company that prioritizes personal and professional growth. Leadership empowers new hires by providing educational courses and one on one training with experienced reps. At ButterflyMX, there is potential for upward mobility and career development. Additionally, they support their employees by offering exceptional benefits, including medical, dental, quarterly stipends, and more. If you want to work at an industry leader and collaborate with great people, ButterflyMX is a great fit for you.
Cons
It is a niche market. ButterflyMX's product and industry is unique and learning to prospect can take time.

Pros
You’ll work with some of the most genuine and engaging people here. They’re smart not only in their respective fields, but also in other areas outside of work — and that diversity of thought is both energizing to work with and contributes to the company’s success. The product is solid and evolving in exciting directions as well, and the combination of SaaS and hardware make for interesting opportunities.
Cons
- Management seems overwhelmed — too many priorities means things don’t get done, and communication about those priorities is muddled so there seems to be lots of wasted effort on projects. - There’s been a fairly high amount of involuntary turnover not related to economic concerns. This begs the question: are the wrong people being hired, or are people not being supported with tools/resources they need to succeed? In addition, there seem to be terminations for very little cause, so your colleagues are here today gone the next, which has had a significant negative impact on company culture.

Thank you for your review and for sharing your personal experience with the organization. This is helpful information for us to continuously improve as a business to allow us to provide a best-in-class experience to our employees. We agree that we have outstanding, intelligent, and energizing talent that allows our business to thrive! To address your concerns: Although we are scaling and we’ve got a lot of moving parts, our leaders have clear objectives and do their best to focus their time where it is most needed. In terms of involuntary turnover, we do our best to hire the right talent for our organization and equip them with the tools and resources to succeed in their role. If we run into a situation where an employee is struggling in their role due to performance, we ensure that we’re supporting the employee, setting clear expectations, and giving them the opportunity to improve. We take parting ways with employees very seriously so there we take all factors and perspectives into consideration before making decisions about someone’s employment. Our hope is that everyone on the team succeeds so we do everything we can to enable that.

Pros
Solid product Good benefits Potential to make good money CEO Aaron is amazing
Cons
The CFO is absolutely brutal. Extremely rude, discouraging, total lack of realistic expectations. Employees have quit solely because of him. Little to no training yet they expect high standards. Territories for sales are a mess, I’ve never worked for a company that doesn’t have states as territories. It’s a free for all that favors veteran sales reps.

Pros
4 weeks PTO, but thats standard nowadays at most places
Cons
The Company puts out terrible hardware and does nothing to try to improve it. The engineers and technical teams in the company are amongst the worst I have ever worked with. They are scared to get out the phone with client to explain an issue and leave up to the non-technical people to explain. The accounting team is a bunch of idiots. They dont follow up to collect money and shift responsibility to everyone else. In fact they dont speak with clients on the phone when they have a billing issue.
