      Very professional environment, strong community, good for any research topic

      Cons

      Among younger colleagues, there is often excessive rivalry, a ‘everyone for themselves’ mentality, and it is not very financially attractive.

      Pros

      Good if you are Czech-Slovak or from Eastern Europe and you want to stay in Czech Republic. The Cryo-EM facility is the best in the area.

      Cons

      Not really international. Even though English is widespread in emails or meetings. But informal conversations are normally held in Czech, also when foreigners are present. It lacks a sense of community. So, its difficult to interact and learn from others.
