    I worked at CHEP full-time

    Pros

    Nice first shift hours 6-2:30

    Cons

I signed on for piece work pallet repairing. After three weeks of them lying and taking advantage of me, I was still making an hourly wage of ten dollars an hour. I was moved to a bad table with broken tools and no backstop. I was told this was becuase there was not enough pallets being brought in. I was told last week their tools would be fixed. Never happened. I was also told I would start piece work Monday morning on the conveyer belt. Guess what? Never happened. They will use new people to fix their terribly broken blue pallets for ten an hour while the older hires earn by taking and stacking the nicer ones. It's a free for all and chaotic work environment. It's a wonder there aren't more injuries.

    Advice to Management

Take some time to supervise and be up front with people

I have been working at CHEP full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The only dependable pros are the benefits, and salary.

    Cons

Constant and consistent turn over of executive leadership team. Current executive leadership team unprofessional and disrespectful to employees even in public forums. Constant reorganization of all departments and leadership. Very limited opportunities. Company now going through a divestment.

    Advice to Management

Executive leadership should be respectful and set an example for the company and all employees. This company has no clear direction, and the employees do not have any faith in the future even with the successful completion of the divestment.
