    Pros

While they didn't have a formal intern program when I arrived. Every level of management gave me structured tasks and incredible support. I had opportunities to do real, meaningful work both on my own and with other team members. When I identified a problem, I was given the opportunity to create a new project to come up with a solution.

    Cons

This was a great work environment, I didn't have any complaints.

    I worked at CardioDx full-time

    Pros

-Aside from a few people in management everyone is really great.
    -Test is pretty automated
    -Good place to start out

    Cons

-Only one test can get pretty repetitive
-Management has double-standards & is petty
-Scheduling sucks, be prepared to "volunteer" for holiday & work every Saturday

    I worked at CardioDx full-time

    Pros

In an important health care space

    Cons

Nearly all of the good people threw their hands up and left, leaving the dregs behind. Even if there were still a possibility of success, they no longer have the people to achieve it.

    Advice to Management

Sell off what you can and close.

I have been working at CardioDx full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love my time at CardioDx. The people who work here are very hard working and believe in the company. It is a pleasure to come to work to interact with coworkers, on the rare occasion everyone is in the office.

Benefits for a company this size are really good, yet a bit expensive.

    Cons

Traffic is terrible. Flexible hours and working from home are offered to offset with traffic, but that leads for an empty office and difficultly getting a hold of people during business hours. The company financially isn't doing well. Processes take a really long time, for example, when someone leaves, just getting the position approved to fill the position can take months. All processes take a long time and have complicated steps that seem to change depending on the weather.

The company is broke. Mobile bills weren't paid for two months. Management did not received bonuses as there was no money to give bonuses.

With the new management, there has been an attempt to build positivity among the company, but a large percentage of management has left. Morale is very low and the staff has been reduced by more than half.

With the few managers and directors left behind, there is a strange imbalance. Some teams have managers below directors, some directors have directors underneath them. Sometimes there is a lot of confusion among managers and a sense of lack of responsibility, which is put onto the staff and mid-level management.

I worked at CardioDx full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    *Good training.
*CEO is a good leader and has clear direction for the company while also utilizing the experience of his colleagues
*Managers and directors work well as a team
*Relatively young company and a lot of people have strong work ethic
*Amazing company culture - Very positive and friendly atmosphere where people feel comfortable speaking up
*Ethics of upper management never a concern at CardioDx
*Good benefits - healthcare, dental, vision

    Cons

*Unfortunately, struggling to make enough revenue to be self-sufficient
    *Not yet IPO
*Fast turn around time required for diagnostic testing which results in a very busy lab and occasionally quality can be sacrificed for turn around time
*Only one test available limits the company's available market share

    Advice to Management

Any strategy that will enable CardioDx to improve their revenue would be helpful. I'd also advice investing in R&D projects that expand their market share, possibly by creating more diagnostic tests or improving the current diagnostic test

    Pros

Could be a great product but their is no reimbursement. 65% of testing is done for free

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Don’t send patients to “soft collections” for deductibles and co-pays.
