    Pros

I learnt a lot about the business in a very short time. I was challenged but also given a lot of guidance to do my role. The atmosphere is very friendly and open and the CEO John has a open door policy which I really appreciated

    Cons

The work is not routine and its more projects based

I have been working at CareGuide full-time

    Pros

Everyone is very friendly. There is a great culture, and the work is challenging. There is flex hours, everyone works according to a schedule they are most comfortable with. Few people are also working remotely.

    Cons

There is a lot of ownership to one's own work. If you not are person that can set targets for yourself and work independently, you won't do well.

People are great and positive! Culture is relaxed and engaging and the location is convenient, with so many great restaurants nearby. The interview process is very smooth with fast updates and people make you feel very welcomed here.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons of working here.

I have been working at CareGuide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you are looking to grow your career and work with brilliant people, CareGuide is the place to do it. Each person on the team is intelligent and fun to be around. The company is ambitious, but patient; something you don't often see in other tech start ups. I know it's a cliché to say, but I look forward to Mondays.

    Cons

Elevators are slow and seemingly sentient. The singularity is here and manifested in the elevators at 119 Spadina Ave.

    Advice to Management

They grant employees autonomy and creative expression. Keep doing that.

I have been working at CareGuide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Interview
The entire process is very smooth. Starts off with a phone interview and then face to face. The interviewers are very friendly and not at all intimidating. They really make you feel comfortable and give you details about the role and the company in general. I loved my face to face interview, as everyone was very warm and welcoming. Feel very fortunate to be a part of a company that is growing so rapidly with excellent colleagues and work culture!

    Cons

    Couldn't think of any!

I have been working at CareGuide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great office space. Excellent & well accomplished colleagues. High achievement expectations, and reasonable latitude for independent work. Management welcomes feedback, and respects their staff. My direct boss is phenomenal -- has precise ideas on how I can improve, while still being extremely supportive.

    Cons

Because I must say *something* : The elevators as slow as molasses. Also, the rooftop patio gets super hot in the noon sun at lunchtime, which is awful!!!.

    Advice to Management

When you invest in your employees successes, they reward you with loyalty......But you already know that.

I have been working at CareGuide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a real focus at CareGuide on every employee's career progress. Some of our colleagues have been promoted rapidly. Almost everyone is in a role beyond which they hadn't previously done. Everyone seems really committed to the company (zero turnover) because we know we couldn't grow faster professionally anywhere else. I don't see this changing unless the company's precipitous growth slows, and there is no signs of that.

    Cons

The office is awesome, with great views, comfy chairs etc. but it is starting to get a bit cramped. We fight over the three meeting rooms. Also it would nice to have our own sink rather than share the neighbour's.

    Advice to Management

The CEO is sometimes a bottleneck, but I think this is typical in scenarios of high growth. We all have to improve and scale up as the company grows.

I have been working at CareGuide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been with CareGuide for approximately 5 months. I absolutely love my job, the people I work with, the atmosphere, the clients - well I guess everything to do with CareGuide. It was my first experience with a start-up and with such a forward thinking Company. The work atmosphere is relaxed but don't think that means we don't work hard and find the results very rewarding. Excellent feedback from our clients is also extremely gratifying and I know the true meaning of Care in CareGuide and how it relates to our business.

    Cons

I have thought long and hard about any cons and really I cannot think of any.
