    Pros

Cash Store Financial was a customer-oriented company; that offers a one-on-one customer's service building a good friendly relationship between the company and that of the client. The high-ranking officers, supervisors and managers were helpful, nice and adhere towards the company's vision and mission statements, its culture and values.

    Cons

Cash Store Financial was sold to National Money Mart; but I stayed until the last days of its closure.

    Advice to Management

I really hope that it had stayed longer because I really like the Company and the workforce, even the high-ranking officers were cool, nice and pleasant to subordinates.

I worked at Cash Store Financial (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It was a good place to work for many years. My regional trusted her managers to operate their branches and seemed approachable.

    Cons

For about a year before the company finally admitted that they were in receivership, they constantly lied to us. They did not pay well, considering how many hours they expected you to work and how much pressure there was always placed on you to reach unattainable goals. Clients could, understandably, be difficult to work with. Constant change with absolutely no support. Love how the owners and those in key positions stole millions of dollars from the company and left it in bankruptcy (not the first company they have done this to) all off the backs of those who could least afford it but we're desperate. Also, they left their loyal and, often, long-term employees with nothing and, all the while, just continued to feed lies to us all. Cowardly abuse of power.

    Advice to Management

Stop stealing from your own company to feed your already ridiculously thick pockets. You should all be in jail!
