I have been working at Champion Window full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay. Mangers are fun to work with . Not afraid to pay overtime . take home company truck, paid gas, and they pay your cell phone bill due to not giving company phones . which is awesome .

    Cons

To much Paper work . client work orders get lost sometimes, so wrong sash or wrong color would be sent out to customer who's already waiting 6-12 weeks for a custom order. would as be so much easier if they issued laptops to the techs to cut out all the paper work . which will greatly reduce confusion on the office .

    Advice to Management

Let's issue laptops to the tech in the field to cut out paper work on work orders. Work orders and times should be on computers.

    Pros

Lots of leads. Great product. Great presentation and support materials . Full benefits

    Cons

Lots of hours. Tough to find work/home balance . Winter months can be tough

    Advice to Management

Figure out a way to give everyone two days off a week. With flex scheduling, this should be do-able

I have been working at Champion Window full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Extremely positive and team-oriented work environment
    - Employees are treated with respect and kindness at all times
    - Support from upper management is fantastic and responsibilities are made clear at all times
    - Constructive critiscism is provided for continuous growth and development

    Cons

    - PTO Policy is a bit out-dated
    - Work load can be heavy at times, but team support definitely makes up for this

    Advice to Management

Continue to stay involved and supportive. This is something that is a huge positive about working with Champion. I cannot say enough good things about upper management.

    Pros

Helps pay bills, I having the opportunity to talk to people and a good working environment. Good placement for the job.

    Cons

Standing for hours and forcing people to buy the products. It can be better and exciting. Please, treat customers like important.

    Advice to Management

Please, consider paying for the gas. These people are working hard.

    Pros

Good money if you are willing to kiss DM's butt. Overall nice people in office just have to be willing to brown nose.

    Cons

Not enough leads. They don't qualify there leads. You are told they will train and advance you but if you don't kiss butt you won't make it anywhere. Supposedly care about your family but honestly they could care less. No reimbursement for mileage and straight commission is great but not everyone wants or can pay over 1000 a window.

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to people you are trying to hire. Be honest and you might not lose as many reps.

I worked at Champion Window full-time

    Pros

Free coffee and Twix in the vending machine.

    Cons

Constant turn over. Employees are not respected or valued. Management team is unable to lead, plan, or communicate effectively (or appropriately). Compensation and benefits aren't competitive for a company their size or for the dedication expected.

    Advice to Management

Asking employees to post positive Glassdoor reviews in order to trick candidates shows a great lack of integrity and accountability.

I worked at Champion Window full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was told that I could make 60 to 80k first year,
But there's now way. I was trained somewhat adequately but the sales manager was condescending and not supportive.

    Cons

Not enough leads to go around. I had one and none for two days. If you are straight commission that is BS.

    Advice to Management

Do not add reps if you cannot support them with opportunity
