Pros

The cause and the research funded is really worthwhile. My manager has been really supportive and great about prioritising long term team development. They have been very good about flexible working and supporting family life.

Cons

Lack of clarity on strategy and a string of short lived CEOs.

They do great work but the charity culture, instances of cronyism and toxic members of staff make it a broken place

They do great research yes

Cons

Some staff members are toxic, but because they're buddies with the boss, all they get is a slap on the wrist. Good luck asking certain behaviours to stop. Probably the worst charitable org I've ever worked at, such a shame.

There are some great people, it's obviously a great cause, and from what I hear from ex-colleagues it's changing with new leadership and a new direction.

Cons

There has been a lot of change in recent years which was unsettling.
