Own and Execute

Pros

Wonderful team where everyone is very passionate about the product and genuinely cares about the customer. Alot of collaboration and opportunity for growth. You have full freedom to own your specialty and execute projects independently, so you'll be expected to own and execute efficiently. There's also alot of flexibility in your schedule with a focus on work completed versus hours clocked in which is rare to find in remote work culture. Management is very considerate on time off should you need it.

Cons

As is common in most startups the goal post keeps shifting so you have to be able to adapt and handle the pressure.

Pros

- Most of the full-time/part-time employees are highly qualified and nice to collaborate with. - Decent compensation. - Implications of your work can be felt on the level of the whole business.

Cons

- The business area has its challenges, thus long-term projects and employee nurturing can be vital for the success of the company - but the leadership is prone to focus shifts in a search for quick wins, which also leads to a decrease in employee retention that ultimately prevents or slows down the necessary business area expertise accumulation in specific departments. - The company is occasionally overreliant on the effort of temporary contractors: this doesn't help with building up expertise within the permanent team and in some cases such involved effort does more harm than good as the permanent team is involved in all the commotion and attempts to make it work.
