    The best petroleum company in China. Benefits, reputation,salaries.

    Hard to get promoted. Education degree is very important

    To be a quick learner. Try to absorb more skills as possible

    Pros

    CNPC is China's largest oil and gas producer and supplier, as well as one of the world's major oilfield service providers and a globally reputed contractor in engineering construction.

    Cons

    There are some management problems.Bureaucracy; Not entirely a firm in market economy

    Pros

    The job is pretty easy. Leaving me some extra time to learn more

    Cons

    The hierarchy is very rigid. You can't do anything without big boss's permission. Very inhospitable for innovation

    Small Company, Contributions can be seen easily from top down

    Cons

    Honestly everything. Unethical business practices, uncompetitive salaries, no raises, withholding bonus, dishonesty. Only decision makers are CEO, COO, and Senior Vice President. Everyone else's hands are tied.

    Advice to Management

    Too stubborn to hear out any advice. If the stubborness will continue, just shut down and spare yourself the headache.

    Salary will not be disturbed by oil price changes, but not as good as three years ago.

    The salaries are fair.(in China)
    Being such a large company, the job options are limitless.

    The hours worked and multiple personalities that you will encounter can become cumbersome at times.
