      Had potential but bad leadership and turnover

      Pros

      - interesting, new tech space - talked big plans, sounded really hopeful

      Cons

      - leadership was terrible. within two months, 3 of the execs that the current CEO hired (within that YEAR) were fired - leadership was simultaneously extremely micro-managing while being hands-off and to themselves - culture of gossip, fear of speaking out (people got fired for doing so) - hard to get any work done because leaders were impossible to pin down — didn't answer messages, skipped 1:1s, etc

      Pros

      Generally filled with hardworking, fun/likeable, talented folks. Hosts fun social, community service, and team building events. Some may like the fast paced, constantly changing/chaotic startup environment (but many will not, see 'Cons').

      Cons

      As many of the other Glassdoor reviews note, leadership (which has seen several major changes recently) is inadequate and unable to define a consistent inspiring/realistic roadmap for the business, and seems to constantly change internal messaging. In these difficult economic times (esp. in tech), Code Climate is not able to retain customers since their core products are non-mission critical. This all creates a stressful, messy internal environment.

      Cons

      The free lunch is crap Senior Leadership is rude and they hired a bunch of people only to lay them off HR is clicky and all they do is gossip about everyone. They don't help with any actual employee issues
