Pros
Owner is on site and working alongside you. Above average health care plan. If you have technical knowledge, are hard working, and have great customer service skills, you have the potential to develop great contacts which will serve you later. Owner generally will pay for training.
Cons
Owner can be a bit of a micromanager and will hover over employees, especially if you are newer/younger. Because it is a small business, employees top out on salary after a few years, and raises are hard to come by.
