I worked at Corepharma full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great Executive Leadership
    Excellent Quality Assurance Programs
    Outstanding Manufacturing Capability
Excellent Pharmaceutical Technology & Compliance Engineering Programs

The programs and systems established by the CorePharma executive leadership team, particularly the VP of Quality (Gary Budney), led to the success of this company (which had formerly been under an FDA Warning Letter).

    Cons

None - this company was well managed.

I worked at Corepharma full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The best reasons to work at Corepharma was the opportunity for advancement, training, and working with highly experienced colleges. Gleaning from there expertise on the pharmaceutical field really add to the knowledge I've received over the past 5 years. Pay was great and the ability to built my interpersonal skill. As you know working in this industry takes team work.

    Cons

The only thing that was not so good is to see our plant shut down but over all i really don't have anything negative about the company. It was challenging to work our way out of a warning letter with the FDA but we did, having to say good bye to other co-worker through a lay-off of 25% of our work force was not so great. but that's about it.

    Advice to Management

Communication is all way key, knowing what people think about processes and over all how things are going in all departments. Alway conveying the goals and objectives is key. communicating vision, values, and expectations.

I worked at Corepharma full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a shame that most of the other reviews are from disgruntled employees. Actually, Corepharma is a great company for one to grow. The company itself is growing (there are some ups and downs of course). There is great opportunity there. The best part is that, because the company is small, you get to interact with many different departments and therefore learn a great deal more than if you were in a large company and had 1 task to perform. Additionally, the company takes you seriously if you'd like to switch into other departments that you are interested in. This is really important if one goes into the pharmaceutical industry and wants grow/change fields.

I truly believe that the CEO (Mr. White) is someone who is trustworthy and sincere, which is not always present with business people. With him now leading the company, I believe you can expect that sincerity to trickle down through to everyone else.

    Cons

Sometimes the office culture is negative, intimidating and too hierarchical . This is probably a remnant of how the company used to be. Never the less, it is difficult to find a company with no office politics or bullies, so Corepharma isn't so bad. Even if there is some negative office politics, HR and management is very supportive of trying to remedy situations.

    Advice to Management

Have general conversations with people about what their experience is like. It will make them feel as though there is a personal component to work and feel more included. Only talking about status reports or numbers de-humanizes people.

I worked at Corepharma full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are no positives from 2013, except some separated employees are finding good jobs despite the handicap of having Corepharma on their resume

    Cons

The senior "leadership" changes made in 2013 have not established the company for the future

    Advice to Management

It may be too late Chris Worrell is not the problem. The problems started with his move to Amedra
