It was close to my home. I became close to some of my coworkers. There were many dining options in the area. I spent a lot of time alone with my clients.
Cons
The product had a lot of issues and very little support. Escalations for bad product features were swept under the rug and empty promises were made. The place was somewhat shady. Business numbers were frequently inflated. Many of the former staff went straight to SumTotal, others to Ceridian.
Solid product. Fully paid benefits and tight knitted development team. The team really cares a lot about putting out a solid product. Small team but everyone is a solid contributor. Seasoned management team.
Cons
Growing quickly which means sometimes deviate from strategy to appease large clients.
