Pros

Beyond the all french management, the people who work here are decent folks. But mostly all very young and inexperienced. But that's intentional (cheap labor).

Cons

ALL of upper management at D3 and Conects, are French, so you have some cultural and language barriers. The CEO is a decent guy. But you won't ever interact with him beyond a passing hello. The head of H/R is awesome. That's about the only positive thing about this company. No respect for work life balance. Typical work day was 8:30 am to 6:30-7:00 pm EVERYDAY. No coffee. No snacks. Free Water from a filtered tap water cooler. The health benefits are terrible. Are they even contributing? I can get a comparable non-company plan on the health-insurance marketplace for the amount I pay per paycheck! The salary is very below industry standard for any position. I have never seen a penny of a 401k contribution from them! They are huge on hiring outsourced minimum wage help. Almost their entire factory staff are unskilled temps from agencies. They have a preference in employing student-visa workers who accept extremely below average pay. Some departments (like tech) comprise of 99% Indian visa students, except for management. They are big on hiring interns as mentioned above - in order to exploit the free to low cost labor. If you are an intern, do not work here. You will be slaved! Zero job security. This is not a role for anyone looking for a long term gig or career. And if you don't speak french, you are nothing more than a temp to them, even at full-time salaried. One day you're doing amazing things, the next day you're gone.

Pros

Wasn’t there long enough to experience any pros but I did get an inside on why I knew I wasn’t going to be the best fit.

Cons

Place also known as D3,LLC High expectations Desire people who will work 12 hours a day. Meets the bare min requirement given by the DOL. If you have a personal life this place isn’t for you . If you have a child your family will probably raise him. 90% of the factory works are temps . Lots of pressure to be perfect in a completely manual process. The controller finds joy in throwing people under the bus.

Pros

None. Except maybe some of the nice people you meet because you’re all suffering together and share your pain.

Cons

Management is extremely unprofessional. Their actions are all defined by how their day is going and how nice they are feeling that day. There are three different buildings and I can’t even decide which one is the worst. Employees are overworked, asked to stay late all the time. First year of employment you get only 5 days off. You get sick you will have to use your vacation. There is very obvious discrimination, if you are French you will get preference. During peak covid we had employees working, cops would come and managers would have everyone turn the lights off and hide. Throught 2020 because of covid we were not allowed to go out for lunch for “safety” while the managers were rich enough to get food delivered all the time. There is no flexibility to work from home or hybrid, they require you to come in from 8:30 am to 5-6 pm (depending on the color of your skin you are given different work hours, poc usually get told 6 pm). They won’t make exceptions, if you have a family and kids forget about them, you won’t get to leave 30 minutes early. The managers stay there till late to make sure nobody leaves 1 minute early, you get judged for leaving on time. Leaving on time means “you’re not working hard or that you don’t have enough to do”. For the life of me I’m trying to think of something postive about this place but I can’t. They fire most people when they give your notice when leaving the company. Or they will pretend you don’t exist and ignore you like a 5 year old. Save yourself, find a better place.
