Pros

You serve a population that is in dire need of help, that just want to talk and be listened to, not judged.

Cons

Horrible management from the President to managers. Do not solve problems with management, promote horrible employees due to the fact that they are the only ones left. Management has lost the whole reason they are there and only want to get accolades, not really help the individuals out.

Pros

The mission is honorable and you get to help a lot of people.

Cons

The salary was never what was promised from the beginning, it is less than half market value. The job was never what promised from the beginning, the manager would never keep his word, always had an excuse to why he need to change the job description or goals. Literally every 4-5 weeks the goal posts would change and the manager would forget what he would say in previous meetings. would get mad and change entire directions. Was easily swayed by employees that knew this and would manipulate the situation to their will.
