    Pros

Close to home and good staff discount

    Cons

There is no staff appreciation and loyal staff. The staff that are loyal are asked to do over excess of there contract hours. And a complete lock of traning given to new staff and existing staff

    Advice to Management

Managers need to be able to manage a department efficiently and to treat staff fair and to stop favering friends and appreciate skill and commitment

    Pros

Good place to work during the summer holidays if you're a student - plenty of hours and kept you very busy. Staff all very friendly

    Cons

Bit disappointing that you are only paid slightly above minimum wage , and the discount is also a bit disappointing - especially if you plan to buy your lunch there

I worked at Dobbies (Less than a year)

    Pros

A lot of young people worked there as well, made some good friends, good first job.

    Cons

Very low pay, just above minimum wage, I got paid £4.47ph when I was 16 and 17 increasing to £5:35
The management was bad and very childish, felt bullied by older colleagues
The biggest contract they offered was 30 hours a week and on a very low wage no wonder they struggled to employ anyone
Also £1 till point challenge was the only measure of our performance which was stupid

    Advice to Management

Increase pay and improve management, get rid of TPC as customers and staff hate it
