The industry is competitive, complicated at times, and definitely nuanced with changing customer expectations, regulations and standards. That means the company has to be able to manage the complexities and nuances that come up regularly. This isn't an easy or simple objective, and the stress that comes with that is not for everyone.
Leadership leaves it up to the teams to decide protocols and standards, and this can be a positive and negative at times. I can see not having a clear direction and decisions at a leadership level being a negative for a lot of people. That is just as much of a note about where the company is at in terms of size and responsibilities as it is about leadership though.
I think leadership is still finding its footing in terms of overall management style and approach with a growing team, product features, and customer base. There are a lot of high priority items to juggle all at once, and things shift constantly in an organization of this size. That adds stress and unknown work/life balance at times, however, it doesn't go unnoticed from my perspective.
