I have been working at Druva full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Low turnover in entry-level sales positions. Upper management makes it clear that the top performers are rewarded and the (many) promotion paths are presentable in a reasonable timeframe.

    2. Upper & mid-level management are approachable. All employees are encouraged and free to request some time to chat with anyone in the office.

    3. Friendly competition promotes excitement within the SDR/Corp/Renewals. Spiffs and team outings are increasing the excitement.

    4. Culture. Incredible meals, discussions about tv shows that may or may not revolve around dragons or futuristic western theme parks, fantasy football leagues, and a diverse group of like-minded individuals from all departments.

    5. Time. It never feels like there's wasted time in the office so there's a fantastic separation between work and life.

    Cons

    1. Tension between departments, Sales - Marketing - Sales-Ops, can be distracting for all parties to complete their daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.

    2. Too many in-office meetings that amount to nothing. A fair amount of bickering and some ideas are tossed around...attendees walk away from the meetings with minimal defined objectives.

    3. Occasional finger-pointing - Two examples...Department A vs. Department B (arguments over credit, when it's clear that the two departments have the same overall goal).

    Advice to Management

We're clearly reducing the department tension. Take the energy that was being wasted on tension and shift it into excitement. Let's take Druva to the top. Hone in on the individuals that recognize the vision/potential and assist them in spreading the passion to their peers.

I have been working at Druva full-time

    Pros

Great market opportunity and delivering well on the product, process, and people to capture it. Makings of a great culture, just need more people who want to win vs. survive.

    Cons

Some bozos have made it past the guards and are political and/or there for the pay check. Thankfully most are self-selecting out or being led out the door.

    Advice to Management

Embrace the team to ensure the culture is one of Do'ers and Winners. Escort all other detractors out the door.

CEO is personable and very focused
    Financially Sound company

    Cons

    Micro management style (Observed)
Negative environment in meetings (Yelling and internal conflicts)
Sexist comments made out loud making people uncomfortable

Allow more freedom to be GREAT and not micro manage people
Increase sales numbers with less internal conflicts. Allow sales to sell
Reduce the male dominate sexist comments in all areas of the office. Impending lawsuit action could occur if not stopped.

    Pros

Druva is a great place for interns...I would recommend it to anyone. It was an extremely valuable learning experience in a fast-paced, start up environment. Druva has a great work life balance and the people there are a fun and enjoyable group. Also, there is catered lunch every day for the entire office.

    Cons

None that I can think of.

I have been working at Druva full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I thoroughly enjoy the entrepreneurial spirit of a young fast moving company focused on customer satisfaction and retention as well as building world class products quickly and being widely recognized by analysts and customers as being on the front of the technology curve.

    Cons

Being a young company, we can not hire talent fast enough and you will sometimest the job done and keep customers happy.

    Advice to Management

Hire more and hire faster. Continue to focus on customer satisfaction and building products driven by customer requirements.

I have been working at Druva full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've worked for Druva for awhile now and I have yet to meet someone that I didn't enjoy being around. There are so many different personalities and interests that keep the office environment fun and exciting.

    Cons

Like any job there is always a lot of work to be done, and sometimes you feel as though people that get all the credit are the ones not actually pulling their weight.

    Advice to Management

Execs need to remember to stop and join the fun occasionally. The best parties and happy hours we have are when the execs and managers are with us chatting about something other than work.
