    Pros

One of the best working environments I've been in. Every employee cares about their peers, and works hard to ensure that the work environment is great for all. Management is very communicative and helpful when it comes to issues. Would definitely recommend a career here!

    Cons

Not much room for growth within the company

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Great people to work with! People driven not money driven.

    Cons

Advancements seem to happen mostly for those who work at the main branch and not the outlying branches

    Advice to Management

Better Communication sometimes the outlying branches don't receive the same information as the main branch.

    Pros

You get a paycheck twice a month.

    Cons

Condescending management, part-time hours are horrible, work on typical bank holidays, full-time works 6 days a week, uptight coworkers

    Advice to Management

Lose the stuffy personalities. Try to relate to people better. For the love of god get new software. It's awful.

    Pros

Good people and good work environment. The mission of the credit union is worthwhile. The work life balance is still fairly good.

    Cons

The credit union continues to struggle financially resulting in further expense cuts and a heavier work load.

I worked at ECCU full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Worked with a great team of talented individuals within my department, as well as other key areas of the credit union.

    Cons

Leadership often times set unattainable goals, technology was behind the times, and politics/red tape got in the way of projects moving forward. Just wasn't fun anymore.

    Advice to Management

Listen to those in the trenches doing the day-to-day hard work.

    Cons
