I enjoyed working with most of the other support workers, who genuinely cared for the residents. Lunch being provided was a plus.
Cons
There was a disconnect between the managers and the staff. It was difficult to voice opinions and have them be sufficiently acted upon. The hours were long. There would very often be too little staff to care for the amount of residents, leading to poorer care.
Managment don't take staff into consideration, staff worn thin due to not the right amount of people on shift, don't get paid enough for the job we do.
