Compensation is relatively low, as the company is a small startup struggling to remain competitive in the market. To sustain business, products and services are often quoted at very low prices. At the same time, engineers are required to work extremely hard — frequently including overtime — to maintain service reliability and ensure business continuity. All engineers are expected to perform Level 1 standby duties, providing immediate support whenever issues arise, despite the job scope outlined in the offer letter never mentioning this nature. Salary increments and bonuses are minimal. Despite the significant workload and commitment required, compensation is often not aligned with the effort contributed, typically due to the company’s limited profitability. Additionally, career progression appears limited. Promotions seem to depend more on personal relationships with upper management rather than capability, performance, or commitment.

Favoritism is deeply rooted in the company culture. Being a family-run organization, top management roles and even team-level preferences are reserved for close relatives or selected favorites. Hard work and performance are rarely recognized, and there is absolutely no appreciation for genuine efforts. Career growth feels biased, with promotions and salary increments largely influenced by personal relationships rather than merit. For employees outside the inner circle, long-term motivation and growth can be extremely disappointing.
