I worked at EXOS full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Large company, many locations and opportunity. Good benefits, holidays and PTO.

    Cons

Lack of pay raises at some profit and loss accounts

    Advice to Management

Myself and my direct reports were denied pay raises for over 2 years based on profit and loss financial statements. We brought the site from a loss to profitable. It was not viewed as profitable enough by upper management. Eventually I left. I was frustrated by years of hard work which was only rewarded by job satisfaction. I needed to earn more. This merit increase structure should be re-evaluated.

I have been working at EXOS part-time

    Pros

Great work environment. Great employees with management that cares about you as a person. They are there to ensure that you can become a successful fitness specialist.

    Cons

Not enough cash flow. After working here for five months, I cannot maintain enough money to support my family. This is definitely an entry-level, "fresh out of college," job.

    Advice to Management

Hire less people so all specialists there can have a higher amount of clients to promote a higher salary. Since it's commission-based, it can be difficult to maintain a solid client-base.

I worked at EXOS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Awesome people, beautiful facility, interesting work

    Cons

Can be chaotic, lots of growth and processes still needed to catch up to support

    Advice to Management

Valuing the shared services who support a wide range and large volume of internal clients

I have been working at EXOS part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great atmosphere. Everyone I worked with is great and the contracted site treats you very well

    Cons

Pay as a per diem personal trainer is completely dependent on clients showing up concistentky. Makes it very hard to make a concistent/sustainable income No benefits

    Advice to Management

Give some benefits and some sort of hourly rate to personal trainers.

I have been working at EXOS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary with benefits. M-F only with weekends off!

    Cons

Low pay for the cost of living, don't expect a raise after your first year let alone the second.

    Pros

Easy going, easy jump into full-time work.

    Cons

Can be a lot of down-time.

    Advice to Management

If you are looking for a career to jump-start a savings account, this is just an entry-level for younger employees. If one has more experience, they can jump in, without experience, do not expect a large salary.

I have been working at EXOS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    * Wake up everyday know that you are doing something to help people improve their own health
    * Growth as a company in exciting industries
    * Perks (healthy culture, partners)
    * Access to CEUs/Education via company's Education (online & classroom) platform
    * Respected brand that is an industry leader and innovator
    * Transparent communications

    Cons

    * HR function is undergoing needed change, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Growing pains for a growing company.

    Advice to Management

    * Continue to keep the communication lines open about everything across the company. Our transparent culture is rare and something we should celebrate.
    * Seems like "management" knows the areas we need to improve, and it will be an even better place when this happens.

I have been working at EXOS full-time

    Pros

Great working environment, very positively minded client-base, I walk into work everyday with a smile on my face! EXOS is a very progressive company that is determined to do things the right way in the health and wellness field.

    Cons

No cons at all, working for EXOS is both challenging and rewarding at the same time. If you put in the effort to better yourself as an individual, good things will happen.

    Advice to Management

Possibly implement more opportunities for performance or merit based reviews, other than that keep up the great work environment for the employees.
