Pros

Where to begin? Just few things first: Talented and honest people in all roles of the company, great/real camaraderie, management is authentic, very approachable, transparent and act according to their words. The company feels like a big family. People are genuinely happy to work here and together. The work itself is challenging and fun, but it's not overbearing. There is a lot to do and learn, but that is always the case with any company. Rarely do I find myself completely on my own and if I ever have questions, there are lots of resources I can pull from. Eccella encourages its employees to learn new technologies and supports them through training and classes. Eccella offers great benefits (health insurance, PTO, ...) and work-life balance...lots of companies say that but I've finally found one that delivered...no on-call work, weekend or night work. Just a fun environment. The office space is very cool, unlimited snacks/coffee/..., ping pong table, free lunch every fridays, ..., not to mention the location in New York City close to Time Square, Penn Station, , etc. There is lots more, but that's just a few highlights.

Cons

I have nothing but positive things to say about working with this great team.

Pros

It was a great place to start a career as I worked with great people and was given lots of trust in client engagements which enabled my professional growth. The company really cared for its employees and demonstrated this by investing in them through professional training and rewarding them with company events/outings. The work was exciting, varied, and challenging.

Cons

Quite a lot of time on the bench between projects. More so for some than others. Some colleagues had been on a project for years, whilst others had 1-3 month projects with a couple weeks or months on the bench in between projects. This is not good if your utilization bonus is quite significant. After the NG Data acquisition, the company culture changed. It became evident that employees were no longer valued as much as before and focus shifted to NG Data's Product and its shareholders. Several people were let go and others resigned.

Pros

There's an awesome startup culture here and the people are great! Having experienced the corporate culture while interning at a Fortune 500 company, this is really great. Being a smaller company, everyone is also more accessible, being able to learn from and reach out to Senior Consultants, Managers, and the Director.

Cons

Company processes are less established being relatively new, but they're a work in progress and everyone can have an influence on them to improve them. Employee benefits are a bit less compared to larger companies, but that's expected. They still cover things like healthcare, dental/vision, and more.
