    Pros

Pay scale above rest in area. State of the art emr that change continuously to meet needs of all. Coworkers are why I stayed so long. One of better food service cafes in a hospital that I have experienced Parking can be very difficult first thing in the morning

    Cons

Forced to do work that don't always feel is compliant. Managers flex their elbows and may not necessary be correct. They have lots of power because no upper management. Some treat employees poorly

    Advice to Management

Just because manager or director are pationate doesn't mean they are compliant. Need to pull bullies out of management

I have been working at Elliot Health System full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You will bond with the people you work with (most of them) and all in all, the work isn't terrible.

    Cons

Despite your best efforts, you will not be given an opportunity to grow within the Elliot. If you are needed where you are (and it's cheaper not to promote you) then they'll start finding faults with how you perform in an effort to make sure that come review time, you look like a slacker.

    Advice to Management

Let people grow. Understand that people who have talent and desire for another area within the organization can feel stifled and suffocated by being left to stagnate in a position that they may or may not hate.
