Pros

AECOM is a large company with resources that can win a wide variety of major projects. There are offices all around the world with experts who can be contacted for guidance and resources. Depending on your manager AECOM can offer a flexible work/life balance, and most employees utilize a hybrid or remote schedule.

Cons

As an entry level engineer, I have realized that AECOM struggles to provide a structured training regimen. The learning experience can vary widely depending on who your mentor is and what office you end up working for. AECOM is lacking consistency in standards and how to train new employees between the different offices and regions.

Pros

Decent company, good stock plan, good people who want to see you grow

Cons

Very remote management makes things hard, very little team work is locally siloed so its hard for managers to understand the boots on the ground view. Managers are great people but spread very thin, sometimes they accept work before having staff for it(classic consulting move)
