Too big, too messy, mediocre mentality - Strategy Consultant Accenture Employee Review

Full of archaeic procedures, politics and approvals. It seems like they think that employees will steal from them. i.e. You need 3 supplier quotes to buy a pen drive, If you need to book a flight to meet a customer and the price is high Accenture's policy makes you fly a day before and stay at a hotel, which of course is more expensive Compensation is terrible compared with peers, specially if you work on Strategy, management consultants in other companies have a 40% higher salary Mediocre people and mentality, if you propose improvements they will always shut you down. i.e. MBA programs in some regions of the world do not include top 10 schools so they will pay for a mediocre MBA but if you get accepted to Harvard you have to pay for it because the company won't sponsor you Sr management spends too much fighting ridiculous admin policies and don't have time to do their jobs When you quit the company they won't start calculating your compensation package untill you sign a letter (with fingerprint) stating that Accenture doesnt owe you anything which completely leaves you helpless and I'm sure it is illegal
