Pros
The pay is ok, although the starting rate went down since I've started. The benefits are good - 100% coverage in a lot of areas and you can coordinate your benefits with a spouse to increase coverage. One good thing is that Accenture covers adult orthodontics, whereas most places don't. The people are good there - I have a lot of good friends and wouldn't change that. The shift bidding process is excellent. It's not based just on seniority, but on job performance. That way, if someone who has been there years longer than me is performing very poorly, I still have a chance at a better shift as long as I do well.
Cons
You won't get a promotion unless you are a smoker. Managers are so phony. You have to be a robot to succeed. Those with families need not apply. I begged and pleaded to get a day off to go to my son's Christmas concert and they wouldn't give me the day off. I agreed to take it unpaid or use one of my vacation days. I ended up calling in sick, but I was so scared to go that I stayed home. I'll never forgive them for my missing that. Also, I had 3 meetings about that sick day and was called a liar by my TM.
