      Pros

      Good benefits - employer paid disability, includes paternity leave; good profit sharing bonus

      Cons

      Aflac Group, which is where I work, is disorganized. Operations are inefficient. This causes a lot of general business issues that make day to day work very challenging. Culture is rammed down your throat, but actions don't match words.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
